We get some really cute pictures when we do special activities at home, so this looked like a good place to share them. Here's a little project from a few weeks back that came together particularly nicely for both boys.
Boy 2 is still learning his alphabet--that is, identifying individual letters. Boy 1 is reading and spelling. So both of them enjoyed picking letters out of newspaper headlines and ads. Being allowed to use scissors was icing on the cake. Whenever we could not find the letter we wanted, we just cut out one of our own from the article text.
